Vaccination Programme

Details of sites that have already started vaccinating are published at: www.kentandmedwayccg.nhs.uk/covid19vaccine

Timing to vaccinate high priority groups

As confirmed by the Prime Minister on 4 January, the Covid-19 vaccination programme will be aiming to provide the first dose of a vaccine to all people within the top four priority groups by mid-February. This is an ambitious objective which the NHS in Kent and Medway will be working hard to achieve.

To confirm, the top four priority groups are:

  1. Residents in care homes for older adults and their carers
  2. 80-year-olds and over and frontline health and social care workers
  3. 75-year-olds and over
  4. 70-year-olds and over and clinically extremely vulnerable individuals
